June’s TEXTURES OF YOGA explores the senses. Our 5 senses are the ways in which we experience the world. We can increase awareness of our 5 senses with yoga practice, mindfulness, meditation, how we eat, and how we move. Come and nourish your senses and then learn the practice of Pratyahara. With pratyahara you learn to withdraw and retreat from your senses. So that you’re less likely to cling to what you crave and are stimulated by.
